    Wednesday, December 12, 2018 | 3:00 - 5:30 p.m.

    Join us for a new type of FAR member holiday event! We'll have more opportunities for networking, door prizes, plus hors d'oeuvres and holiday beverages. The cost is just $35 per person.*

     (*This fee applies to all FAR nonprofit members.) Attendees will receive one drink ticket upon arrival, good for wine or beer.  Other alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase at the bar for cash or credit.

    **The most festively dressed member will win a prize!**

    New: Our generous members are providing door prizes for which ALL attendees are eligible! (Must be present to win.)

    This year's selected charity is SOME (So Others Might Eat). Please see the wish list below for items of greatest need.

    Bring a donation to the holiday event and receive an extra raffle ticket!

    • New or gently worn socks for men and women
    • New or gently worn bras
    • Casual shoes

    • Plus-sized items for men and women
    • Men’s jeans and casual pants

    • Infant clothes

    Always needed: adult diapers, children’s diapers, toiletries (trial size), rain ponchos, and winter weather items (coats, hats, gloves, scarves).

    Where: City Club of Washington | 555 13th St. NW | Washington, DC 20009 (map)  The Club is located on Concourse Level, the entrance is just next to the fountain. There is a reader board of daily events as well as a Club Reception desk to assist you on arrival.

    Metro: Located directly at Metro Center. (If you take the "12th and F" street exit, you hit the street just steps from the building entrance. There is also a 13th Street entrance which is just next to the Warner Theatre.)

    Note to All Guests: The building's parking garage is CLOSED THROUGH DECEMBER. City Club apologizes for any inconvenience at this time, the garage is under reconstruction. Thank you for your patience!

    Registration Instructions:

    Registering yourself: FAR members, please make sure to log in to the FAR website to receive FAR member registration options. FAR members may add nonprofit guests to your registration.

    Registering a substitute: FAR members, please do NOT log in to the FAR website if you are registering a colleague as your substitute, simply go to the event page and select the appropriate substitute registration. FAR members may add nonprofit guests to the registration.

    Parking:  There is parking in surface lots close to the building. There is also a garage in the building that tends to fill up quickly, but at 7:30 or 8 a.m. would likely have spots available.

    Metro:  Bethesda (Red line – about 8 minute walk south on Wisconsin Ave from metro)

    Check-in: Attendees will need to check in with the security desk and request access to the 13th floor. The elevators are secured and available only with key fobs. The Auto Care Association suite is visible from the elevator doors – look for the car in the lobby through the glass suite entry doors.

    Light breakfast refreshments will be served. 

    *Please note:  Attendee contact information will be distributed after the meeting. If you have any objections to sharing your information with the other breakfast attendees, please note it in your registration or notify Christina Hartz at hq@far-roundtable.org.
