As we begin 2023, we leave behind one of the worst years in history in terms of performance for a combined stock and bond portfolio. With economic volatility expected to remain high in the immediate future as the Fed continue to raise rates, non-profits are looking at ways to diversify and rebalance their investment portfolios, manage risk, mitigate higher borrowing costs, and take advantage of potential opportunities. This session will focus on best practices for non-profits that are seeking long-term growth while mitigating short-term volatility and will explore both traditional and alternative investments.

Presentation Takeaways

At the end of this session, you will be able to:

  1.  Understand the dynamics that are driving capital market returns today.
  2. Discover what asset classes non-profits are using to diversify their investments.
  3. Identify strategies to explore for your operating/short term reserves, long term investments, and Pension/Defined Contribution Plans.
