Additionally, our panelists will share valuable insights into navigating banking fees, understanding financial products, and implementing effective cost-saving strategies.

Marta Sokol, Chief Financial Officer | Wireless Infrastructure Association

Marta Sokol is Chief Financial Officer for the Wireless Infrastructure Association. She leads all finance, human resource, IT and office management functions and is responsible for establishing the association’s culture consistent with its core values of innovation, collaboration and accountability.
Prior to WIA, Marta held key finance positions at the SEED Foundation, The Society for Technical Communication and the Washington Capitals. She currently serves on FAR’s Board of Directors.

Matt Agresti, Senior Vice President/C&I Relationship Manager | EagleBank

Matt Agresti is a Senior Vice President and Relationship Manager at EagleBank since March 2023. Prior to arriving at EagleBank, he spent 34 years with Bank of America (25 years in the Washington DC market). He has been in commercial banking for the majority of his career. In his role today, he leads and quarterbacks a team of product and service specialists to deliver strategic financial advice and solutions to help government contracting organizations grow, improve cash flow, lend and manage their cash management capabilities.
Based in Tysons Corner, VA, Agresti is responsible for managing and directing his client’s commercial banking relationship with the bank. He is an active participant in the relationships that he fosters, meeting with clients on a quarterly basis that provides feedback and advise on how to maintain and grow his organization’s bottom line and effectively leverage the bank’s services and product lines.
Matt’s role in banking is driven by relationship banking, and the focus is specifically aligned to a client’s financial and operational performance. His driver on relationships is to be a “pro-active” banking consultant when warranted. He was the recipient of BOA’s top award for Commercial Banker 7 times (Award of Excellence – Top 5%) for all bankers in the U.S. in his time with BOA.
Prior to joining the banking industry, Agresti served in the United States Air Force out of college. He was active duty for one year and served the last seven years in the reserves. He has been in banking since 1989, became a commercial banker in 1996 in Tampa, FL and moved to the Washington, DC region in 1998.
Agresti has a B.A in International Studies from the University of South Florida and received a commission as an officer in the United States Air Force in 1988. He served 8 years (7 with the USAF Reserves) and retired from the service at MacDill AFB in the summer of 1996.
Christine Cardinal, Senior Vice President, Nonprofit Banking Group | Atlantic Union Bank

Christine Cardinal is a Senior Vice President in the Nonprofit Banking Group at Atlantic Union Bank. Christine has over 25 years of banking experience specializing working with tax-exempt organizations in Northern Virginia, DC and Maryland. She is focused on partnering with nonprofits to deliver exceptional service, serve as a valued resource, and assist them with financing needs and improving efficiencies through the use of automation and technology. She is active in the not-for-profit community and is a member of the Finance and Administration Roundtable (FAR), the American Society of Association Executives (Former Chair of the Finance and Business Operations Section Council), and the Greater Washington Society of CPAs (Current Board member).
