MARCH LUNCHEON RECAP

"Current and Future State of Healthcare Reform and Exchanges in a Post PPACA World"

The repeated changes and delays to the implementation of the Affordable Care Impact have brought confusion and, in some cases, concern to FAR member organizations.  On March 19, Joel Wood, SVP of Government Relations for the Council of Insurance Agents and Brokers, and Scott Sinder, Partner at Steptoe & Johnson, shared their experience and perspective on how the roll-out will impact both large and small organizations in the next year.  Their closing comments provided guidelines for anticipating the effect of exchanges and tax penalties as the implementation continues.

April 16, 2014
Registration is Open!

Speaker: Bryce Gartner

Description:
Collecting data has become second nature as every event and decision in our organization can be easily followed up with an electronic survey.  But judging the quality and deciding how to use this information is not nearly so simple.  As we in the not-for-profit arena are placing increased value on market analyses, we need to make informed decisions on the data we need, collect and use.  Hear from other members the benefits - and pitfalls - of collecting data.

Learning Objectives:
* Distinguish between data reporting and data analysis
* Develop strategies for using data to maximize business outcomes
* Reference companies using data visualization to drive business decisions toward becoming a data driven organization
* Develop new ways to start using data and visualizations for measurable results and big data strategies
