Please join us for an engaging and incisive panel discussion on the most important issues affecting nonprofit CFOs in 2024, and how to successfully navigate and overcome any challenges on the horizon. Our three CFO panelists are at the pinnacle of the profession and sector, and will share their insights, expertise, concerns and predictions on all the issues discussed.

Learning Objectives – attendees will gain:

  • The top issues and challenges for nonprofit CFOs to be aware of for 2024 and why
  • How to successfully and strategically address the challenges and come out stronger and more resilient
  • Lessons learned from previous challenges of a similar nature and how to apply them going forward


    Jennifer Brearey, Chief Financial & Operating Officer; Executive Director, AdvaMed Advance and AdvaMed Women’s Executive Network

    Jennifer Brearey is the Chief Financial & Operating Officer and the Executive Director of AdvaMed Advance and AdvaMed Women’s Executive Network. She was appointed chief financial officer of AdvaMed in March 2016, having previously served as the association’s vice president of finance and director of finance. Mrs. Brearey also serves as the Executive Director for AdvaMed’s inclusion diversity programs which includes the industry initiative AdvaMed Advance and AdvaMed’s Women’s Executive Network.

    Prior to joining AdvaMed in June 2012, Ms. Brearey’s experience includes seven years at Ford’s Premier Automotive Group where she held management roles in profit analysis and vehicle pricing for Jaguar and Land Rover North America. She also led accounting for the US offices of a privately held legal-services firm, CPA Global. Ms. Brearey began her career in public accounting, and has more than 20 years of finance, accounting, managerial and organizational planning experience. She holds a B.B.A from James Madison University. Ms. Brearey recently served as chairwoman of the FAR Roundtable, a 300-member network of nonprofit executives.

    Bianca Domally, Chief Financial Officer; Association Builders and Contractors

    Bianca Domally, ABC’s new CFO, has over 25 years’ experience as a financial professional in the not-for-profit industry. She has served as CFO for the American Public Power Association, Controller for American Petroleum Institute, and Controller/Managing Director for American Chemistry Council.

    Bianca brings expertise in process improvement, change management and team leadership and development to ABC. She abides by a “continuous improvement” mantra, for work and life, and champions empowering people to achieve their highest potential.

    Bianca received her BBA degree from Baruch College, CUNY and is a Certified Public Accountant. She lives in Laytonsville, Maryland with her husband and two children, but prides herself in always identifying as a “New Yorker”!

    Chase Warden, Chief Operating and Financial Officer, Land Trust Alliance

    Chase Warden has served the non-profit community for nearly 20 years. He is currently the Chief Operating and Financial Officer at the Land Trust Alliance where he is responsible for all aspects of finance and accounting, human resources, information technology, and operations. Since his arrival in 2018, he has systematically rebuilt crucial teams, addressed organizational capacity and resource needs, and streamlined business operations. He is currently leading a digital transformation effort that will provide new systems, tools, and processes that will drive organizational growth and impact.

    Before joining the Alliance, Chase served as a Director of Finance and Operations at The Nature Conservancy, the world’s largest conservation organization. During his 13 years at the conservancy, he provided leadership to the organization’s global marketing division, supporting its rapid expansion and growth. In addition, Chase worked with The Nature Conservancy in Montana where he provided financial oversight and leadership for the 310,000 acre, $510M Montana Legacy project, which stands as one of the largest land acquisition projects in the organization’s history.

    Chase received a Bachelor of Science with a double major in Finance and Biology from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Chase is a member of the Environmental Roundtable, the Finance and Accounting Roundtable, and previously served on the board of EarthShare, an organization dedicated to ensuring environmental nonprofits are represented in employee and workplace giving campaigns. Outside of his professional pursuits, Chase enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and three boys.


    Omid Mohebbi, CPA, Manager; GRF CPAs & Advisors

    Omid Mohebbi, CPA, is a Manager with GRF CPAs & Advisors and specializes in audits of nonprofit organizations and employee benefit plans. Mr. Mohebbi is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and events on the nonprofit sector and the latest accounting standards. He currently serves as Chair of the Greater Washington Society of CPAs Nonprofit Academy Committee and Co-Chair of the Greater Washington Society of CPAs Employee Benefit Plan Conference Committee. Until recently, he also served for a number of years as Board Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee of a prominent nonprofit organization in Washington, D.C.
